- roof exercises are composed of two uncompleted views of a slanted shingled roof :

- a top view in which we are asked to divide the roof into all its different areas of which it is composed .

- after the top view is solved , we have to complete the front view , and sometimes a side view too .

- sometimes we are asked to find the true size of one of the roof's areas .

- the uncompleted top and front views of a simple shingled roof .

- sometimes we are given top views of shingled roofs of houses that include internal patios.

- sometimes we get top views of shingled roofs of houses which begin with a flat wall , or the given view is only one half of a whole duplex house .
